The diesel engines (1.6 and 2.0 Multijet) are found in almost all model years, with outputs from 90 to 180 hp. The 2.0 BlueHDi (120 and 145 hp) is an economical and clean choice. Modern versions have an automatic or manual gearbox. The electric e-Scudo offers 136 hp, a range of up to 330 km (WLTP) and a payload comparable to the diesel variants.
A 2.0 diesel consumes on average 6 to 7 l/100 km. Maintenance is generally affordable, but pay attention to the timing belt on the 1.6 and 2.0 engines: replacement is recommended at around 180,000 km. A service history increases the resale value.
